March 10 (UPI) -- New York City police investigated a suspicious device Tuesday near Gracie Mansion, the official residence of New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani. Police escorted people out of Carl Schurz Park at lunchtime after the package was reported by a New York City Parks Department employee. The bomb squad cleared the device, and police said it was not hazardous, but would receive more testing . Authorities did not say whether the package is linked to the attack outside Mamdani's home
