Taiwan police say the man accused of stabbing and killing four people on Dec 19 had been planning the crime for 1.5 years. The 27 year old started buying items such as tactical gloves and gas masks as early as April last year. In January, he allegedly bought dozens of smoke grenades online, before stepping up preparations last month with the purchase of gasoline cans and gas cylinders. Victoria Jen reports.
