Players and a cameraman narrowly avoided disaster after an overhead camera fell onto the pitch after catching fire. The faulty camera plunged more than 20 metres onto the field while a match between Hungary and Kazakhstan played at the Nagyerdei Stadium in Debrecen, Hungary. One cameraman stood on the touchline, oblivious to the danger overhead, was almost struck by the falling object. The spidercam, which can travel across the pitch, had caught alight moments earlier and was billowing smoke.
