In a Team Europe effort, the European Union (EU) together with its Member States and GIZ, the German Agency for International Cooperation, are proud to support Eswatini in its digital transformation journey to develop a national data policy, which will ensure that collected data is governed responsibly with clear rules on protection, access, privacy, equity and public benefit. EU Ambassador to Eswatini, Karsten Mecklenburg, said this on 29 April 2026 in Mbabane during the opening of a two-day
