European Commission approves Poland’s €43.7B SAFE Plan

The European Commission approved Poland’s national plan for spending money on defence from the SAFE program. Poland applied for funding for 139 projects worth EUR 43.7 billion. The EC also gave the green light to seven other EU countries. In addition to Poland, on Monday the Commission also approved plans submitted by Estonia, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, and Finland.
