The EU Ambassadors to African Union, Javier Niño Pérez, and to Ethiopia, Sofie From-Emmesberger, Ambassadors from EU member states and many colleagues from the EU missions based in Addis Ababa share their favourite traditional food, sayings, and songs in their mother tongues. On 26 September, the EU celebrates the richness of its languages and cultures through the  European Day of Languages . This year’s theme is “Languages open hearts and minds!”, reflecting that learning languages harnesses
