The European Parliament has expressed strong support for Greenland and Denmark after President Trump's administration repeated claims that the United States should acquire Greenland. MEPs stressed that Greenland is not for sale and that decisions about its future belong only to Greenland and Denmark. They called on the European Commission and EU countries to provide concrete and tangible support to both Greenland and Denmark, in line with EU principles, international law, and NATO commitments.
