The decision regarding the Future Combat Air System (FCAS) will be taken in April. The project has already been stalling due to disagreements between manufacturers. France’s Dassault and Germany’s Airbus Defence and Space were unable to reach an agreement. As French President Emmanuel Macron stated, “they just can’t seem to agree. Our job is to ensure they reach an agreement, so we have jointly decided to launch an initiative to bring Airbus and Dassault closer together in the coming weeks.
