Italian MEP Ilaria Salis said Wednesday that she wants to be tried in Italy over allegations she was involved in an attack on far-right militants in Hungary.     The European Parliament upheld the parliamentary immunity of Salis by one vote on Tuesday after Budapest requested she be stripped of it so she could go back in trial there.     "Salis is calling, will (Justice Minister Carlo) Nordio respond?," the Green-Left Alliance (AVS) MEP said via X.     "So far, I've only heard insults and lies:
