After the announcement of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei's death, areas home to both Jewish and Iranian communities in London and New York saw massive celebrations. In Finchley and Golders Green, fireworks were set off and members of the Orthodox Jewish community sang in Persian and Hebrew together with their Iranian neighbors. Meanwhile, in Times Square, Israelis and Iranians danced together jubilant celebration.
