Malaysia’s Anwar Ibrahim strongly condemns US, Israeli strikes on Iran

Malaysia Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim strongly condemned the strikes on Iran by US and Israeli forces in a speech in parliament on Monday (2 Mar). He also called for all parties to seek cooperation with Gulf nations and to return to the negotiating table. Mr Anwar also said that a large number of Malaysians have been left stranded in the Middle East. He said the foreign affairs ministry is monitoring the situation, although efforts to bring Malaysians home are being hindered by flight
