18.11.2025 EEAS Press Team The European Union is closely following the situation ahead of the general elections scheduled to take place on 30 November 2025 in Honduras. The EU expresses its concern about recent developments affecting the institutional framework and preparations for the elections. The EU calls on the Honduran authorities and on all political parties and actors to ensure that electoral institutions are able to operate independently and effectively, in line with the Constitution.
