Health update on man attacked by shark TWICE before driving himself to hospital

A surfer miraculously managed to drive himself to hospital for emergency surgery after being attacked by a shark, despite having been bitten twice in the leg. The man, in his 50s, is believed to have encountered a bronze whaler shark, which can grow to 3.3m in length and weigh up to 300kg. The terrifying incident took place at around 1.37pm on Tuesday, according to Shark Watch South Australia , at D'Estrees Bay in an area known as The Sewer at Kangaroo Island.
