Jets lock up Joe Tippmann on $66 million four-year contract extension

The Jets are locking up a cornerstone piece of their offensive line. Guard Joe Tippmann and the Jets agreed on a four-year contract extension , ESPN.com reported on Monday. The contract is reportedly “big” for Tippmann, who graded out as the league’s 37th-best offensive lineman according to Pro Football Focus.
