The winners of the Nobel Peace Prize for 2025 will be announced at a press conference on Friday (Oct 10) at the Norwegian Nobel Institute in Oslo, Norway. There are 338 nominees for this year's prize, among whom are jailed Hong Kong activist Chow Hang-tung and Canadian human rights lawyer Irwin Cotler. While the leaders of Cambodia, Israel and Pakistan have said they nominated US President Donald Trump, their nominations were made after the Jan 31 deadline, so they are not valid for the 2025
