Malaysia has sealed a landmark US$250-million deal with global semiconductor giant Arm Holdings, which could reshape the country's artificial intelligence and semiconductor industry. Under the agreement, Malaysia will gain access to Arm's advanced chip design blueprints, setting the stage for it to develop its own high-performance AI chips within the next decade.
