NATO Scrambles Fighter Jets to Intercept Russian Military Planes

NATO fighter jets were scrambled Tuesday to intercept Russian military aircraft flying over the Baltic Sea , a routine but highly visible show of force along the alliance’s eastern flank as tensions with Moscow remain high.
