Call for action on understudied lung cancer in never-smokers

Lung cancer patients who have never smoked make up a significant and growing share of global lung cancer cases, yet remain an understudied group, according to a new review written by UCL researchers. In 2020, lung cancer in never-smokers (LCINS) was the fifth most common cause of cancer death worldwide (the most common cause was tobacco-related lung cancer).
