The US House of Representatives on Wednesday passed a nearly $900 billion military spending bill for fiscal year 2026, which begins on October 1. The bill was passed by a vote of 231 to 196. The lower house of the US Congress was largely divided along party lines. Seventeen Democrats—the House minority—voted in favor of the bill, and only four Republicans—the House majority—abstained.
