Happy Valley icon Siobhan Finneran is back on our screens this week for the new police drama series Protection . The 58-year-old actress from Oldham takes on the role of DI Liz Nyles, a police officer who works in the witness protection department, shielding those who have given evidence against criminals and are then hidden in safe houses.
