The world's largest aircraft carrier cost a staggering £9.5billion to build and is the length of three football fields. It comes as US President Donald Trump moved the hulking ship to the Middle East in an apparent show of strength towards Iran. The carrier, launched in 2013 and the newest in the US fleet, was ordered to set sail from the Caribbean. It had taken part in the operation to capture Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro at the start of 2026. It could take at least a fortnight to arrive
