Amazon closing massive UK fulfilment centre with 590 jobs impacted

Amazon is planning to close one of its fulfilment centres with 590 jobs impacted. The company has launched a consultation to close the site in Milton Keynes, which was the first Amazon centre to open in 1998. The 590 employees affected by the announcement will be offered a transfer to the new Amazon site in Northampton or to other centres.
