P.E.I. minister out of cabinet amid $100K donation allegations

Days after P.E.I. Premier Rob Lantz removed Gilles Arsenault, who was a senior cabinet minister, over a legal opinion detailing an alleged $100,000 donation from a private developer to a community group in Arsenault’s district, the premier says he has asked the province’s conflict of interest commissioner and RCMP to investigate the matter.
