Progress Singapore Party (PSP) founder and chairman Tan Cheng Bock announced his retirement from electoral politics on Saturday (May 10) before a series of walkabouts to thank voters for #GE2025. He said that he will not be retiring from the party and added that PSP is "not running away" from future elections. "We'll be back soon. We'll be back in maybe five years' time," he said.
