A cherished Midsomer Murders detective is thrilled to be returning to his role. The performer is renowned for portraying DS Gavin Troy, the colleague of John Nettles' DCI Tom Barnaby, throughout the opening six series of Midsomer Murders. Last year, he took the lead in a theatre version of Caroline Graham's The Killings at Badger's Drift, which served as the pilot for the ITV series. Nevertheless, it has now been announced that he will continue playing DCI Tom Barnaby, as the tour has been
