Passengers were seen walking along the tracks of the Sengkang-Punggol Light Rail Transit line on Friday (Aug 15) after a power fault disrupted services. The incident occurred just three days after a major breakdown on the Sengkang-Punggol LRT line, as well as the North-East MRT line. Operator SBS Transit's Group CEO Jeffrey Sim says in the latest LRT incident, preliminary findings suggest that a cable fault between two stations tripped the LRT network. He apologised for the inconvenience.
