51 year-old Michael Gazetas went missing the morning of January 31st 2020 after leaving his home in Courtenay. It's believed he may have headed into the forest. Friends and family say the film location scout had extensive knowledge of the backcountry. Despite a massive search effort neither Gazetas or his truck were ever seen again.
