ISTANBUL US diesel prices rose above $5 per gallon Tuesday for the first time in more than three years, as the escalating war in the Middle East deepened the shock to global oil supplies, according to a motor group. The national average price for diesel hit $5.04, up 34% from the day before the US and Israel launched a massive wave of airstrikes on Iran, according to data from the travel association AAA. The jump pushed diesel prices to their highest since December 2022, when Russia’s full-
