The USB-C charging mandate arrives in the EU — here’s what that means

From December 28th, a large percentage of the gadgets bought inside the EU are required to charge via USB-C. The goal for Directive 2022/2380, known colloquially as the common charging solution, is to reduce e-waste and solve market fragmentation.
