On Monday night, the House passed a weaker version of the Senate’s Kids Online Safety Act, or KOSA, aimed at regulating the tech industry and protecting children online. Whether this is a good thing or not depends on whom you ask. House leaders have taken four years to reach a compromise on their own version of KOSA, which the Senate passed in 2022.
