Taylor Swift ‘s attorneys have slapped back at a lawsuit filed by a former Las Vegas showgirl who claims that the pop superstar’s “ The Life of a Showgirl ” album title infringes on her trademark for the phrase “Confessions of a Showgirl.” The lawyers call the argument that there could be confusion between the services provided by the two women “absurd.” Maren Flagg, who performs as Maren Wade, filed the lawsuit in United States District Court in California in late March. She trademarked “
