Cardiff City lose £104m compensation claim over death of Emiliano Sala

Cardiff City's claim for more than £100million in compensation following the tragic death of Emiliano Sala has been thrown out by a French court. Argentine striker Sala, 28, died in a plane crash in January 2018 along with pilot David Ibbotson. He was flying in a Piper Malibu jet over the Channel on his way to Cardiff having signed for the Bluebirds from French club Nantes for £15million.
