A heartbroken mum has shared how her teenage son died after contracting meningitis when the only symptom he showed was feeling cold. Jack Bolam, 19, said he felt chilly before heading to work one day but sadly he did 48 hours later, due to meningitis B. His mum Joanne, 49, revealed her son showed no symptoms until he arrived home early from work at a retail store, because he felt dizzy and ill.
