For the first time in the “Tron” movie franchise, the signature light cycles make their way from a computer grid into the real world. That results in a neon-tinged high-speed chase, light wall streams that split a police car in half and even some intense circular running through a parking garage. In this sequence, Julian Dillinger (Evan Peters), who runs the tech company Dillinger Systems, has created artificial intelligence programs that can be laser printed and operate outside of the grid.
