A major solar energy project has been inaugurated in the Silistra region of Bulgaria , marking one of the country’s largest installations in the sector, according to BNR correspondent Nezabravka Kirova. The facility, known as the St. George solar park, is situated on the grounds of a former airport near the village of Polkovnik Lambrinovo. It spans 165 hectares and includes around 400,000 solar panels, with an installed capacity of 225 megawatts. The output is expected to account for nearly 13%
