Singapore's workplace fatal injury rate fell to its lowest since 2021. There were 36 fatalities last year, or 0.96 deaths per 100,000 workers. Efforts to reduce injury rates continue, including measures such as using AI to detect hazards and a workplace safety playbook to be released later this year. SafeSite video analytics, an artificial intelligence system designed to detect five common work hazards, is being trialled at 14 worksites until June. Nadirah Zaidi reports.
