Former Premier League striker Dean Windass has spoken out after he was diagnosed with dementia at the age of 55. Windass, who played for the likes of Hull, Bradford and Middlesbrough during his career, hopes his diagnosis can help others and says he does not want anyone to "feel sorry for me".
