A woman was killed in a hit-and-run in North London this afternoon, the Metropolitan Police has confirmed. The incident happened just after 3pm outside a school in the Edgware area. The pedestrian was on Grahame Park Way when she was hit by the vehicle, in a crash that was witnessed by some parents and children who were there at the time, and pronounced dead at the scene.
