US$263m crypto theft case: Singaporean Malone Lam due in US court, judge to decide if trial proceeds

New developments in the multimillion-dollar fraud case involving Singaporean Malone Lam, who is accused of leading a network that stole US$263 million in cryptocurrency. The 20-year-old is due back in court in the United States, where a judge could determine whether his trial will proceed. This, after a key co-conspirator, Kunal Mehta, pleaded guilty yesterday to laundering charges. Nick Harper reports from Washington DC.
