Twitter/X went down for users across the UK and the world this evening. Thousands of users of the social media app owned by Elon Musk reported on DownDetector they were unable to log on to their accounts. The issue seems to have cleared for some people, particularly in the south of England, but is continuing for others further afield. Users complained of not being able to access the social media app from 7pm tonight. As of 7:18pm tens of thousands of users has taken to DownDetector to complain
