April 15 (UPI) -- Diagnosed cases of autism in the United States are seeing an uptick, according to new data by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. A new CDC report released Tuesday highlights that an estimated one in 31 cases of autism spectrum disorder in 8-year-old children were diagnosed in 2022 versus one in 36 in 2020.
