Five heat deaths in Italy in 24 hours says WHO

The World Health Organization said Tuesday there have been five heat-related deaths in Italy in the last 24 hours. Calling on authorities to boost prevention measures across Europe, WHO Regional Director for Europe, Hans Henri P. Kluge, said: "The current heatwaves in Europe are a 'dress rehearsal': across Europe, emergency rooms are currently filling up.
