Member countries of the World Health Organization have finalised an agreement on how to tackle future pandemics. The landmark treaty seeks to avoid mistakes made during the COVID-19 crisis. It addresses structural inequities on the development of drugs, vaccines and health tools. The finalised text will be presented for sign-off at the WHO's annual assembly next month.
