A California congressman is pushing to ensure every American can enjoy a true fireworks show after outrage exploded over a canceled July 4 show due to a state agency’s wildlife concerns. Republican U.S. Rep. Ken Calvert introduced the Fireworks for Freedom Act Thursday to ensure everyone will be able to have firework displays for Independence Day, which happens to be the nation’s 250th anniversary. Calvert called out the California Coastal Commission, which denied a permit for a fireworks
