The Tour of Romania 2026 was officially presented at the Government House in Chișinău on 25 May, with the participation and under the patronage of the Government of the Republic of Moldova. The event was attended by two ministers, four district presidents and vice presidents, four mayors, and numerous other representatives of the government and public administration, as well as the Cycling Federation and the Olympic Committee of the Republic of Moldova.
