Up to 400 preschoolers from vulnerable families will receive remote dental screenings over the next three years, with the aim of detecting and preventing tooth decay early. The programme uses tele-dentistry tools and AI to assess oral health risks, helping children access timely care. Doctors warn that poor oral health in early childhood can lead to chronic conditions later in life. Since its launch in 2023, more than 350 children have benefited from the initiative.
