Video game movie adaptations aren’t a gamble anymore. At this point, they’re one of Hollywood’s safest bets. Between  The Super Mario Bros. Movie blowing up at the box office and studios scrambling to lock down the next big franchise, it feels like every major game is getting fast-tracked into development.
