Nasa’s Artemis II mission ended in a final fiery descent, with the four astronauts splashing down in the Pacific Ocean, shortly after 1am, following a bone-juddering 13-minute ride through Earth’s atmosphere. It was the end of a triumphant mission that captivated the world, unveiled astonishing new panoramas of our home planet and the Moon, and conferred “international treasure” status on Reid Wiseman,
