Local bookstores worry about impact of potential retaliatory tariffs

Local book sellers are concerned that retaliatory tariffs could be disastrous to the book industry here at home. More than 50 per cent of books sold at Central Edmonton's Magpie Books are printed in the United States. Currently, books are included as a potential item for the Canadian government's counter-tariff measures and that decision could have a major impact on local businesses.
