This is arguably Austria’s largest startup — or rather, scale-up — exit by far: the Upper Austrian company Tractive, which specializes in pet trackers, has just announced that it will be sold to the Italian tech company Bending Spoons. The closing of the transaction is expected in the second quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
